Joy Hallinan is a nationally recognized speaker on major gifts, transformational giving and creativity.
Throughout her career as both a lead development professional and consultant, she has worked with numerous art museums such as the Phillips Collection, Miami Art Museum, Harn Museum of Art, MFA/Boston and RISD Museum helping transform upper level membership programs and establishing major donor affinity groups. As a member of the Corporation of Public Broadcasting’s Major Gifts Initiative (MGI) while a Partner with Alexander Haas Joy worked with 17 PBS and NPR stations to establish major giving programs. Joy is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Atlanta Humane Society where she successfully launched both $1000+ and $10,000+ major donor circles and finished a $10 million Capital Campaign at $11.2 million including a $4 million lead gift.
